Please read these terms and conditions of the usage of IMEC website carefully before using the services provided by this website. These terms and conditions govern your usage of IMEC website and affect your rights and liabilities under the laws. No other terms or changes to the Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you shall not proceed to view or utilize the Site.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without any further notice to you. If you do not accept the amended Terms and Conditions, you shall not continue to view or utilize the Site. Continued use of the Site will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

title    Registration & Eligibility to Order

You may only purchase from IMEC website if you are aged 18 years or over. You will need an active email address and a telephone number at which you can be easily contacted. You shall ensure that the details provided by you on or before the registration are accurate, correct and complete.

You shall inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you have provided by updating your personal details should there be any changes of such information.

title    Order Submission

We may decline any order either in whole or in part at our absolute discretion. We reserves the right to specify the minimum order value that will be accepted from time to time, and supply orders below the specified minimum order value as determined by us, on all such orders.

title    Order Cancellation

We may cancel an order if the Product is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made.

If you wish to cancel your order after you have submitted to the Site, please contact our Customer Service Team at online@imec.com.my or call +603-8734 9255 immediately. However, once an order has been confirmed, paid and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

title    Order Amendment

If you wish to amend your order after you have submitted it to the Site, please contact our Customer Service Team at online@imec.com.my or call +603-8734 9255 immediately. However, we cannot guarantee that order can be amended to your requirements.

title    Order Confirmation Email

An Order Confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address after you have submitted your order. The Order Confirmation provides a summary of all the items in your order. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until we have sent an Order Confirmation in relation to those Products.

title    Pricing

All displayed pricing in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). The pricing contained in our price list are subject to change without notice to you. However, we will do our very best to ensure that the price displayed at IMEC website is accurate. We will validate the price in your order as part of our acceptance procedure. If the price for the order changes before we accept your order, we will contact you and ask you to re-confirm your order at the correct price or you may opt to cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided in the order submission, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email.

Payments must be paid in full within 3 days from the date of Order Confirmation. Otherwise, your orders will be cancelled without further notification.

title    Delivery

We will deliver the Product to the delivery address provided by you as per Order Confirmation.

We will do our best to deliver within the time indicated by us at the time of your order. However, we cannot promise or guarantee a firm delivery date.

Should in any case we are unable to meet our estimated delivery date, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

On delivery of the Product, you must inspect the Product for any faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. You must keep the receipt of the delivered Product in case of future discussions.

If we are not able to deliver to certain delivery address as requested by you, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your order. You may opt to cancel the order or change delivery to an alternative delivery address.

title    Shipping

Standard shipping delivers between 3 to 5 working days within Malaysia. Due to shipping constraint, please note that we do not shipped to Sabah & Sarawak and Overseas address for online purchases. However, we can make special arrangement for you should you like to order with Sabah & Sarawak and Overseas shipping address. Kindly contact our Customer Service Team at online@imec.com.my or call +603-8734 9255 for this special arrangement.

title     Shipment Notification Email

You will receive a Shipment Notification email when the item ships from our warehouse. The Shipment Notification email includes the carrier name and its tracking number. You can track your parcel using the tracking number on the carrier's website.

title    Packaging

We deliver in our standard packaging. No special packaging request will be accepted.

title    Product Return

We do not accept request for Product Return for exchange or refund other than the following reasons:

  • book   Faulty or Damaged Product due to Manufacturing Defects
  • book   Wrong Item Despatch

title    Faulty or Damaged Product

We checked all Products prior to packing and delivery to ensure that all Products are in excellent condition. However, in case of faulty or damaged Product received due to Manufacturing Defects , you must contact our Customer Service Team at online@imec.com.my or call +603-8734 9255 within 24 hours of goods receipt.

To qualify for a possibility of an exchange, you must:

  • book   keep the Product in its original packing and condition
  • book   specify in details the alleged faulty or damaged Product
  • book   provide any other information eg order number, photos, as requested by us.

If an exchange is allowed, you must:

  • book   return the Product to our office within 10 working days upon our instruction for verification and inspection
  • book   make sure that the Product is in its new condition with complete original packaging and label

Upon confirmation with our Customer Service team, please pack the item and send it back to:

No exchange is allowed if we find the Product:

  • book   has been used, abused or subjected to neglect, improper or inadequate care, carelessness, damage or abnormal conditions; or
  • book   has been involved in any damage caused by an incorrect attempt at modification or repair; or
  • book   had been dealt with or used contrary to the manufacturer's instructions for the Product.
  • book   not in its original packing and label

In any case that the request for an exchange has been approved upon inspection and the Product is out of stock or not available, we may:

  • book   replace it with other similar Product of similar value
  • book   refund the cost of the Product itself

title    Wrong Item Despatched

If we have delivered the wrong item not as per your Order Confirmation, please accept our sincere apologies and contact our Customer Service Team at online@imec.com.my or call +603-8734 9255 within 24 hours of goods receipt.

title    Withholding Supply

We reserve the right, irrespective of whether or not an order has been accepted and without notice to the Buyer, to withhold supply to you and we will not be liable for loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from such action where:

  • book   insufficient Product to fill the order; or
  • book   Product ordered has been discontinued.

title    Product Usage

Please note that the Product is intended to be used strictly accordance with the manufacturer's instructions as set out on the Site or the Operations Manual (if any) as provided in the product packaging itself. It is your responsibility to make sure that you follow the said instructions strictly.

title    Email Correspondence

Should you contact us by email and have not have received any response from us within 24 hours, please make further enquiries. In rare cases your emails may not reach us or caught up in our spam filters, or correspondence that we send to you may not have reached you.

title     Promotional Voucher or Coupon

From time to time, we may release promotional voucher or coupon that may be used on the Site, which we will send to you by email. Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed on the Site which you can use as payment for Products on the Site. The credit of a promotional voucher or coupon does not accrue interest nor does it have a cash value.

If your order is less than the value of the promotional voucher or coupon, no refund or residual credit will be returned to you. If the credit of a promotional voucher or coupon is insufficient for the order you make, you will need to make payment for the difference.

We accept no liability for errors in the email address of the voucher recipient. In the event of fraud, an attempt at deception or in the event of the suspicion of other illegal activities in connection with the redemption of promotional voucher or coupon, we are entitled to close your Account and/or require a different means of payment.
